Brittney Martello
My name is Brittney Martello and I am the Owner of Hyalite Kids and Hyalite Crossfit. I feel incredibly blessed to not only raise my own, but to pour into so many others each day. My heart is to create a safe, joyful environment where kids feel loved, seen, and encouraged to grow. I am passionate about introducing children to Jesus while also helping them build strong, healthy bodies through movement and play. There is nothing more rewarding than watching their confidence grow as they learn new skills, form friendships, and discover the world around them. Seeing children learn, laugh, and thrive at Hyalite Kids is truly one of my greatest joys.

Mikaela Maddock
My name is Mikaela Maddock, and I am the Director and Pre-K teacher at Hyalite Kids. I’ve been part of the Hyalite community for many years and feel incredibly grateful to now lead and grow this special program. I’m a familiar face both around Hyalite and in the Bozeman education world, and building strong relationships with families is one of my favorite parts of what I do.
I earned my degree in K–8 Elementary Education from Montana State University in 2017. Since then, I’ve subbed in Bozeman Public Schools, worked in local preschools, coached Hyalite Kids, taught kindergarten and third grade at Anderson School, and have been the preschool teacher at Hyalite Kids since the fall of 2022. Each of those experiences has shaped my heart for early childhood education and strengthened my belief that the preschool years matter deeply.
I love working with children because of their honesty, curiosity, and joy. Childhood should be full of play, imagination, movement, and adventure. In my classroom, we focus on creativity, kindness, and learning through play!
Outside of school, I love staying active and socializing with friends! You can usually find me outside—soaking up summer days at the lake, hiking the M, going to country concerts at The Old Saloon, fishing, or spending time with my yellow lab, Luna.
I’m so excited you’re here and can’t wait to welcome your family into ours. 💛

Luna
Luna is Mikaela’s sweet 15-year-old yellow lab and the beloved, unofficial mascot of of Hyalite Kids. While she may not clock in every day, she proudly holds the very important title of Head of Crumb Clean-Up. After years of dedicated service (and expert snack detection skills), she considers it her life’s work.
With her gentle heart and calm spirit, Luna represents the warmth, patience, and unconditional love we value at Hyalite Kids. She loves sunshine, naps, crumbs, slow walks, and being near her favorite people. At 15 years old, she’s mastered the art of slowing down, soaking up the moment, and finding joy in the simple things, a lesson we hope to pass on to every little learner who walks through our doors. 💛
